The Irish Times is by far the coziest pub in Victoria. It always feels warm and comforting all year round. The times is a friendly pub too, you can usually strike up a conversation with nearby patrons pretty easily, and everyone is there for a good time. Their drinks menu is solid, with everything you’d expect from the old world and the new. They carry a few local beers to give a try too, with Hoyne always being one of my favourites!
The staff are always kind and friendly, giving a great level of service. Some of the extra draws to the bar are them showing European sports not many other places show (Six nations rugby, English Premiership) and they also have live music every night of the week! The music is usually pretty good too, with some of the Celtic bands very atmospheric!
Tips: Try a Crown Float – half guiness, half Strongbow/Magners cider! Their food is a little pricey, but good. I’d recommend having dinner somewhere then coming here later in the evening for a few drinks.
